"CASTLES!"
One of Tiago's favorite days in Victoria (aside from Christmas day) was the day he discovered that Canada has lots of castles.
Well, actually, it has fancy hotels, fancy government buildings and a fancy University...
After posing in front of Parliament, and running through the Empress to disturb the dozens of creatively themed Christmas trees and tea-sipping tourists...
...we headed over to Royal Roads University (aka: "Grandpa Josh's castle!") to sound off some alarms (literally). Apologies to campus security. Um, your 'Merica is showing.

(Below, I managed to capture a quiet moment with the children in the Japanese gardens at Royal Roads. It was a very brief moment of Zen.)
