We're back! We have a new blog page page (old blog still available for walks down memory lane see:http://guilarunit.blogspot.com/)!
We'll start with a brief snapshot of the past few months. Shall we?
Tiago wrapped up his 3rd year with his first theater showing of Mary Poppins at San Francisco's Orpheum, just a week before turning 4 years old.
A surprise weekend visit from tia-abuela Maria and bis-abuela Yolanda proved to be a lovely time in San Carlos
Mommy celebrated her birthday with our dearest local friends and family on a beautiful, sunny June weekend...
And then, ready, steady, travel! We departed our lovely Northern California (the fog even rolled out as we departed, to reveal the San Francisco Skyline and expansive bay bridges). Tiago couldn't have been any happier to be leaving the temperate climate of California for the thick, humidity of NJ, NC and GA.
In New Jersey, we had a wonderful visit with family. Tiago reveled in all that the Boardwalks had to offer. He sustained almost entirely on pizza, hamburgers and ice-cream for 3 weeks. But let it be known that nowhere was the pizza as good as it was on the Boards!
Yummmmmm!!!
And, before we knew it, we were flying the friendly Carolina blue sky.
The kids dazzled with sparklers on the 4th of July, and despite some drizzling, the sun never disappeared.
These cousins spent almost every waking hour either swimming or fighting crime (both when possible).
(no rest for the weary)
Mommy and Tiago had a chance to make a quick sand-castle pit-stop on their drive to Georgia
And for the 2nd year straight, Tiago calls it:Georgia is the BEST place--it has trucks and trains. (It also happens to be where Abuelito currently resides--but that may just be a coincidence;-)
